Uwharrie Golf Club is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Asheboro, North Carolina.
The course opened in 1963. The layout was designed by Ray Cummins.
The course is like two different golf courses rolled into one. The course has a wide-open front side and a challenging backside.

I've been playing at Uwharrie since I was 9, joined for the first time this year and now play it as much as possible. The fairways sometimes suffer during the summer but they are working on getting irragation to solve this problem. Fast, well manicured greens.
